Moment Hill - Privacy Notice

Last updated: 2026-05-12

This notice explains what information Moment Hill Ltd collects when you visit the website or use the enquiry form, why it is collected, and your rights.

Who we are

Moment Hill Ltd is a private limited company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 17209339). Registered office: Collingwood Buildings, 38 Collingwood Street, Newcastle NE1 1JF, England. The website is hosted on Squarespace. Business email: hello@momenthill.com.

What we collect

Website visits (anonymous)

We collect general, non-identifying information about website traffic: which country visitors are from and which pages are viewed. This data comes from server logs, not tracking cookies. It is aggregated and cannot be used to identify any individual.

We do not use tracking cookies, third-party analytics (e.g., Google Analytics), or any technology that builds a profile of you personally.

Enquiry form

When you submit the contact form, we collect:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Your message

This is the minimum needed to respond to your enquiry. We do not ask for phone numbers, addresses, or company details unless the conversation progresses.

Why we collect it (lawful basis)

  • Enquiry form: Legitimate interests. You initiate contact and we need your details to reply. This is what any reasonable person would expect when filling in a contact form.
  • Anonymous analytics: Legitimate interests. Understanding how the site is used helps us improve it. Because the data is aggregated and not personal, it does not identify you.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiry data: 12 months from the date of your last message, then deleted. If an enquiry becomes an active client relationship, the record is kept for 7 years for tax and contractual reasons.
  • Anonymous analytics: Retained indefinitely as aggregated statistics.

Who we share it with

Your enquiry data is processed by:

  • Squarespace - hosts the website and stores form submissions
  • Fastmail - delivers notification emails when a form is submitted

Both act as data processors under UK GDPR Art 28 and have Data Processing Addendums in place. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with anyone else.

Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Access - request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Rectification - ask us to correct inaccurate data
  • Erasure - ask us to delete your data (within legal limits)
  • Restriction - ask us to limit how we use your data
  • Objection - object to our processing on grounds relating to your particular situation
  • Portability - receive your data in a structured, commonly used format

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@momenthill.com.

You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you believe we have mishandled your data. ICO website: <www.ico.org.uk data-preserve-html-node="true">.

Form smallprint

By submitting the enquiry form, you acknowledge that your contact details will be used for the legitimate purpose of responding to your enquiry. This is not consent to marketing - you will not be added to any mailing list unless you explicitly opt in separately.
